Hatsan Gladius .25 / 6.35mm, PCP Air Rifle with QE barrel

GLADIUS LONG super powerful with a long range, windcheater PCP type bullpup equipped with 6-stage power control. Rifle recommended for lovers of fun and all kinds of modifications. Davailable in calibers: .177 (4.5 mm), .22 (5.5 mm), .25 (6.35 mm).

Energy regulator - using the knob located next to the magazine port, we can adjust the the discharge energy of the shot depending on your needs or the distance at which you are shooting. Adjustment levels: pos. 1 - 8.5 J, pos. 2 - 15 J, pos. 3 - 21.5 J, pos. 4 - 26.5 J, pos. 5 - 30 J, pos. 6 - 36 J (data for 4.5 mm cal. version of the FAC*).

Bullpup - the design mechanism of the weapon known to move the magazine and the breech chamber behind the trigger mechanism. Through the use of the buttless system, compact dimensions of the rifle were achieved, while maintaining the normal length of the barrel that guarantees excellent accuracy and the reduced recoil typical of this design.

Barrel - precision threaded with a length of 23" (585 mm) Hatsan QE (QuietEnergy) covered with a metal sheath. Zafinished with an integral silencer sound reducing by -50% sound of a gunshot. Such a solution helps to preserve the maximum discharge energy of the shotgun shells, which can be difficult in the case of an optional silencer. Hatsan designers have taken care to solve this problem, and in addition, the balance of the windgun has been improved. The constriction at the exit of the barrel called the chok improves focus. The workmanship of the barrel is one of the most important parts of any weapon/wind gun. Affects the accuracy of the rifle, especially when shooting at long distances.

Power supply - replaceable compressed air tank with a capacity of 255 cc located under the barrel. When fully charged, it allows you to cast from 45 to 60 effective shots depending on the caliber of the wind gun (data for version FAC*). Built-in pressure gauge allows you to control the pressure present in the tank, and thus the degree of its charge. A rotating ring protects the charging inlet from damage. After the compressed air is emptied, the empty cartridge can be replaced with a new filled one (optional). This provides an excellent solution for those not intending to take the PCP pumps or cylinders range. 130 bar minimum working pressure in the cartridge recommended by the manufacturer.

Important! The air injected (rolled) into the wind gun should be dried, which prevents corrosion of the cartridge. Using the original pump HATSAN HAND PUMP equipped with particle filter (which retains moisture from the air drawn in from outside) and an additional dehumidifier cartridge (which retains residual moisture) prolongs the life (tightness) of the cartridges.

Settlement - tactical type bullpup with thumb hole TH (ThumbH(ole) made of durable polymer in color black. Adapted for right- and left-handed people, the flask ended with a length-adjustable rubber foot. Height adjustable baka. With the ability to adjust the process of setting up the windmill according to your preferences as well as your shooting style is fast and uncomplicated. Three slots (ports) for spare magazines.

Mounting rail - double 11 mm / 22 mm, allows mounting of any optical sight. Compliant with MIL-STD 1913 standard (referred to as picatinny or Weaver). Additional three rails picatinny mounts placed on the bed of the axle.

Magazines - interchangeable, rotatable. Depending on the caliber, aluminum ones are offered 10-shot (cal. 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm) or steel 9-shot (cal. 6.35 mm). Reloading is done with a two-bar lever side lever action located on the right side of the rifle. Causes the "cock" to be pulled, the magazine to be rotated and new shot to be inserted into the barrel chamber. Included four magazines.

Oxide - lock chamber oxidized on bLACK, other elements covered with oxidation blue finish.

Accessory equipment - metal spinning tops for attaching a gun belt or suspension. Original gun carrying belt Hatsan Sling. Tip Quick-Fill to quickly fill the cartouche with air by the pump Hatsan Hand Pump, technical cylinder or dive (300 bar). The air rifle is packaged in a professional polymer case

Windmill GLADIUS LONG is equipped with solutions to improve comfort and safety of use:

• Quattro Trigger, 2-stage fully adjustable trigger mechanism. Length adjustment first way (sterile) and the other way trigger tongue (Trigger Load). Adjustment hardness (sensitivity / resistance) trigger tongue (Trigger Pull). Allows the trigger characteristics to be individualized to the user's requirements for best accuracy.
• Anti-Double-Pellet Feed, a mechanism to prevent more than one shotgun shell from being loaded into the barrel.
• Anti-Knock System®, patented system to prevent loss of compressed air in the event of mechanical impact with a windbreaker.
• Manual-automatic fuse, protecting against firing an uncontrolled shot, automatically activated when reloading the windcheater. Before firing, depress the fuse with your thumb.

For each wind gun not exceeding 17J, the manufacturer includes a unique Energy Limit Certificate 17 J. The certificate is a document stating the compliance of the product features, and thus the legality of the windcheater with Polish regulations.
