Chronosoft Clear lightweight safety goggles with frames made of Kraton. Designed to operate at extremely high temperatures, they offer high-class innovations. An elastomeric frame that can withstand extreme temperatures and a double viewfinder equipped with the EQUALIZER system ensuring effective protection against fogging. The frame made of thermoplastic material adapts very well to the face, protecting against dust, snow, rain, gases and aerosols getting into the eye area.
Glasses
Double visor, made of Curve 6 polycarbonate, 2.2 mm thick outer lens with anti-scratch coating and 1.1 mm thick inner lens with anti-fog coating. They provide a very wide field of vision, protect 100% against UVA/UVB rays (according to the European standard of protection against light EN 172 Solar 100% UV). The lenses have military ballistic resistance certificate STANAG 2920 for mechanical damage as a result of direct impact (221 m/s) and T (sudden flame impact - temperatures of 420oC).
STANAG 2920 - ballistic protection standard introduced in NATO since 1985. This method determines the parameter V50, which means the velocity in m/s at which there is a 50% probability that a standard 1.1 g shrapnel will penetrate the tested ballistic shield.
Design
Made of heat resistant TPR plastic. Band made of fire resistant rubber. Tight fit is provided by a contoured design finished with a thermoplastic gasket. There is enough room under the visor for standard prescription glasses. The design gives basic protection against chemicals, dusts, gases, aerosols and liquid drops.
The set includes a soft case (Speed Sleeve) worn on the strap of the goggles and a rigid case equipped with MOLLE mounting tape.
