Vortex Gas Piston®, patented innovative gas spring technology designed to propel spring-loaded windcheaters. Developed and manufactured by Hatsan Arms. Gas Springs Vortex® Gas Piston use compressed air for propulsion, rather than other gases as in the case of competing solutions. They guarantee quiet, smooth operation of the windcheater, no spring vibration, less recoil and repeatability of each shot. The barrel - precision threaded QE (QuietEnergy) with a length of 10.6" (270 mm), terminated with an integral sound suppressor that reduces gunshot noise by -50%.

Mounting rail - the windcheater has a mounting rail 11 mm / 22 mm allowing the mounting of any optical sight. In addition, the rail has a stopper that absorbs recoil after a shot is fired to prevent the optical sight from moving along the rail and calibrating it.

Automatic fuse - placed in the rear of the cylinder of the windcheater, it protects against the firing of an uncontrolled shot. Each time the spring of the windcheater is pulled, it is automatically triggered.
